1st time here. Just visiting Chicago for daughters graduation from Navy Boot Camp. They were so friendly and helpful.
A great library with helpful staff.
Unpleasant to be here. Staff are like prison guards as far as children are concerned. Kids can't even explore and learn in the children's area without someone coming in and laying down some ridiculous "rule." This library needs to take a page from the Waukegan Library or Wauconda Library. I feel completely on edge and unwelcome in this Library and that needs to change. It's unfortunate and a huge missed opportunity to be a welcoming place in the community.
I love the staff there really friendly and if there is a certain item in there database they can special order it oh and the bookmobile staff are also friendly.
Ive been goin there for more than 13 years. I like that they have a large variety of dvds . but whats the point. If there rude. I was with my daughter in the cocos club.room. A staff mmbr came n said they were closing. In. 5 min. There was still 4 min left. N the same staff mmbr went inside the room n turned off the lights. My daughter n i were almost finished picking up da puzzles
