Super enthusiastic ticket seller, great prices, good specials and very comfortable seating. Bathrooms were clean, cinema was clean and everything was great. Very nice theater to go to.
Had the opportunity to watch a movie at the mall for the very first time. We saw Justice League and enjoyed the 4D experience.
Comfortable recliner seating. Good food selection, but a bit expensive. Although all theater places have pricey food. Always find experience to be friendly customer service. We really like the improved seating you can choose online and better surround speaker system. We like that it's in a very convenient location.

The price of the ticket is a little bit more than your regular ticket, but totally worth it especially if the movie is full of action and adventure. And the seats are assigned so you don't have to worry about not finding the best seat for yourself.
If you don't know what 4D is, it is a 3D experience movie with a lot more bells and whistles - like smells, fans, sprays of water and moving of the chairs. This is all orchestrated by the scenes within the movie.
Gurnee Mills Cinema is a safe place to enjoy a movie with your significant other. The seats are reclining seats are comfortable. Lines are reasonable.
I went to a 10:30 am show. Paid the extra $ for the ultra screen. In the middle of the movie the show cut off. I was told they were working on restarting the picture. Sat there for at least a half an hour before I was informed they would not be restarting the movie. I was offered a pass for another show which I turned down. They already had my $ from the ticket and overpriced concessions. Leaving everyone just sitting there in the dark for as long as they did was unacceptable to me. There are closer, more affordable theaters. Marcus Gurnee isn’t worth it when they cannot provide the service you pay for.
